J.M. Akridge is a fantasy author from Seattle, Washington, whose stories blend worldbuilding, epic adventures, and dynamic ensemble casts.

Her passion for storytelling grew from years of creating fantasy worlds for fiction and tabletop roleplaying games. An active game master, she draws on elements of tabletop gaming to create immersive adventures, memorable characters, and worlds that feel alive.

J.M. also draws on her experience as a Muay Thai fighter and instructor, as well as her training in Kali and Jeet Kune Do, to bring authenticity and physicality to her fight scenes.
